Grundig Sono Clock 350 - 70s LED Clock Radio Repair

Grundig Sono Clock 350 - 70s LED Clock Radio Repair As with most electronics of this era, the capacitors were going bad and required replacement and in this case there was also an issue with the obsolete clock IC, a Fairchild FCM7010. One of two shown in my last video, I decided to delve deeper into this good example of a 70s Led clock radio. Although the fix was simple, it was time consuming to clean, test and measure all the critical components. Fortunately for you the viewer, I have only subjected you to less than half an hour. The reality was a lot longer because this was not a quick bodge fix but a genuine test and proper repair.
