Quick Visit to the Union Railroad and "The Trench" in Pittsburgh, PA

Last stop on my Pennsylvania trip would be Pittsburgh. There were two things I wanted to see here, the Union Railroad, a shortline owned by Transtar used for transporting iron, coke, etc between the various US Steel mills of the region to Class 1 interchanges, using a fleet of EMD endcab switchers to do so, and "the trench," a famous spot on Pittsburgh's north shore where the NS Fort Wayne Line is several feet under a park, however exposed. Enjoy!
