Yesterday evening, I was delighted to meet a fellow Korean RV traveler here and we shared travel information. I even gave them some melon, and it was a very pleasant time. ------ Hello. Good morning. Yesterday, I started my journey without thoroughly checking the road conditions and weather before departure. As a result, it was a very tense and challenging drive. The route started from Kikuchi Onsen, passed through Kikuchi Valley, Daikanbo, Kusasenri, and the active volcano Nakadake, and ended at Michinoeki Aso. We had to drive through the Aso Outer Rim mountain range at an altitude of 800–1,200 meters in the dark after sunset, amidst rain and thick fog. In particular, last night's route was a grueling journey through nightmarish mountain roads rather than a trip to admire the beautiful scenery of the Milk Road. However, starting from Kikuchi Valley, we passed Daikanbo, Kusasenri, and the active volcano Nakadake, and safely arrived at Aso Station and Michinoeki Aso. Although the mountain roads were rugged amidst rain and fog, it made the trip all the more memorable. Next time, we will return on a clear day to show you the magnificent scenery of Aso.
