Bhagavad Gita | Chapter 2, Verse 16

Bhagavad Gita – Chapter 2, Verse 16 "The unreal never truly exists; the Real never ceases to be." This verse presents the profound wisdom of Advaita Vedanta in a simple way. Though the world appears real, it is comparable to the scenes experienced in a dream. Behind all names, forms, and changes, there exists an unchanging Reality. That is the Self. That is Brahman. Many waves may arise, yet the ocean is one. Many ornaments may appear, yet the gold is one. Many pots may exist, yet the clay is one. In the same way, the foundation of all names and forms in the universe is one Pure Consciousness. To ignorance, there is a world. To knowledge, there is Brahman. Just as a rope mistaken for a snake remains only a rope when the illusion is removed, Brahman alone remains when ignorance disappears. You are not the body. You are not the mind. You are not a passing thought. You are Eternal Consciousness. That is Brahman. That is Truth. That is You. #BhagavadGita #Gita #Advaita #SelfKnowledge #Brahman #Consciousness #Vedanta #Krishna #Spirituality #Wisdom #GitaWisdom #NonDuality
