Reflections of Hope Episode 38: Lava Love | Taj Pacleb
Three years ago today (May 3, 2018), the ground opened up and spewed out lava into to the residential areas of Puna on Hawaii's Big Island. Over the next several weeks, rivers of lava flowed from over 20 fissures, consuming everything in its path. It was an unstoppable flow! Homes were destroyed, memories were lost, families were displaced, and lives were forever altered. There are no adequate words to describe what this beautiful community faced when the ground opened up beneath them. But despite this tragedy, there is still so much to gain from this terrible loss. This Reflections of Hope episode reflects on the memory of that traumatic experience and highlights the surreal and sublime lessons that are essential for us to learn from the tragedies that we are bound to face in this life. Listen, learn, and share the lessons of "Lava Love"! To view more incredible object lessons from nature, and to support this ongoing series, please go to patreon.com/revelationofhope.
