Is Samos Worth Visiting? My Honest First Impressions

I spent 4 nights exploring Samos in late May 2026, staying in Kokkari on the north coast and using it as a base to see as much of the island as possible. In this travel vlog, I visit some of the best-known places on Samos, including Pythagoreio, Kokkari, Manolates, Karlovasi and Potami, as well as heading down to the south coast to explore Ormos Marathokampos, Kampos Marathokampos and Psili Ammos Beach. Samos surprised me with its mix of green mountain scenery, traditional villages, relaxed seaside towns, beaches, harbours and ancient history. This video is a relaxed look at what it’s like to explore the island over a few days, with my honest first impressions along the way.
