In this video, I put the Segway Navimow X4 Series to the test—more specifically, the powerful Navimow X430. I start by unboxing and installing it at my cabin, where I previously built an automatically controlled mower house for my Segway Navimow H105E, better known as Johan. But there is one problem: my lawn is simply too easy for this beast. So, I load the X430 into the boat and take it to beautiful Råkvåg, where my family has a cabin property surrounded by spectacular Norwegian scenery. This is where the real test begins. The property is located on a steep slope and is filled with moss, uneven terrain, obstacles and difficult areas that should challenge even a highly capable robotic lawn mower. Here, the X430 gets the opportunity to show what it can really do. The mower automatically maps the area and navigates without requiring a separate antenna. Its Network RTK positioning system works together with satellites and local reference stations to provide precise positioning throughout the property. The X430 did a fantastic job, even under these demanding conditions. Robot lawn mowers have come a long way since the days of installing boundary wires around the entire lawn. In this video, you will see the complete journey—from unboxing and installation to testing the Navimow X430 in some seriously challenging Norwegian terrain.
