Gel Plate Collage With Scraps – My Top 3 Tips!

In today’s video, I’m creating a gel plate collage using only scrap paper — and I’m sharing my top 3 tips for making your gel plate collages successful every time. Using my big plate, I start by pulling pieces straight from my scrap bag, arranging small snippets of paper to create a one-pull collage design with beautiful layers and variation. Then I take it further by adding an image transfer to the gel plate before placing the scrap papers down. This adds instant texture, contrast, and detail to the final print. I experiment with a few different pulls, and they all turn out absolutely fabulous — proof that your scrap paper stash is a treasure chest waiting to be used.
