Erie Lackawanna Lives! NS SD45-2 1700 Leads OI-16

On Sunday October 26, 2015, myself and a friend ventured down to South Jersey territory in search of Shared Assets train OI-16. Norfolk Southern SD45-2 1700, now painted in the Erie Lackawanna paint scheme, would lead the train. This unit's paint scheme is less than a month old, and its assignment to Oak Island just began several days earlier. While going down there we spotted them heading south by Tremley Point, timing the arrival to our first location right on time. The train had an astonishing 5 units from both Norfolk Southern and CSX. Throughout this video you will see the EL SD45-2 leading the road freight on its way to Browns Yard in Sayreville, NJ in several locations. Enjoy!
