Easily and Effectively Importing Photos into Lightroom Classic in 5 Easy Steps
This week’s video I go through the method I use to import photos into Lightroom Classic. Typically when I am helping Lightroom users with photo import or finding lost/misfiled photos, it is due to missing a step in the import process. The default method in Adobe’s import instructions can be confusing and lead to filing/importing errors. Using my method, I give 5 simple steps which leads to the source and destination being defined PRIOR to hitting the import button. This effective process leads to fewer errors and a streamlined import process. If anyone has any questions about this process or needs help with locating missing files, please reach out to me. In the video I mention the setup and use of PREVIEWS during the importing process. If you would like further information on the use of previews please review this document.
