Part 3 of this 4 part series shows how the older style (5A8) Bendix Gear and Barrel that was originally on the xv1000 compares to the newer, upgraded Bendix set that was used on the xv1100 2nd Gen. Not to spoil the fun, but turns out the 2nd Gen Bendix Set performs better than the original one used on the xv1000 and keeps the gears engaged without much movement at all.
