Bakan was a glorious city of the 12th century, developed on the royal way from the capital of Yasodhara, passing by Boeung Mealea temple and across the Mekong River in Stung Treng province, continuing to Champa Kingdom which was under Khmer control. Bakan temple, located in Kouy motherland, might be related to a city: Jayadhityapura, according to the inscription where Prince Jayavathorn was born, studied, grew up there and became the Great monarque of Khmer empire, Mahanorkor. #youkhemarak is disposal for sharing with Khmer history, Angkor Culture, Cambodia Civilization and some educational entertainments.
