As defined by the doctor. 2) Intensity and duration of pain: It depends a lot from woman to woman. 3) Recovery: The body needs 6 months to recover completely, but after around 45 days most activities can be resumed (with the exception of high-impact sports, which can only be resumed with medical approval). 4) Observe the stitches: The stitches should look dry. If there is secretion, redness, burning or the area is hotter than normal, you should see a doctor. Even if the surgery is glued on the outside, the inside has been sutured and there are stitches. In this case, feeling is more important. If you feel that something is abnormal, see your doctor. 5) Lifting weight: You should not hold or lift any weight after a cesarean section (even if it is your oldest child). This is not recommended because the stitches can become inflamed or burst with the force required to lift the weight. 6) Walking: Movement can cause discomfort, but the more you walk, the better. Standing still causes gas and swelling to build up, as well as poor circulation. That is why it is important to move around. 7) Going up and down stairs: You should avoid going up and down stairs in the first few days after giving birth. 8) Washing the area properly: Soap and running water are recommended for cleaning the incision site immediately after surgery. There is no need to apply anything else to the site unless your doctor recommends an ointment or medication to be taken. 9) Take your medications: In addition to anti-inflammatory and pain medication, it is essential not to forget to take antibiotics if prescribed by your doctor. 10) Belt: See your doctor's instructions on this. It can help when sitting and standing up. However, use it in moderation due to the risk of putting pressure on the blood vessels in the pelvic region. 11) Drink water: Drink 2 to 3 liters of water per day and eat a diet rich in protein. 🛍 Visit the MdM store on Amazon: www.amazon.com.br/macetesdemae #Maternity #Pregnancy #Newborn To receive notifications of new videos, turn on the notification alert (by clicking on the bell).
