Drawing a basic triangle grid for Sashiko - Sashiko basics Part 5

Update: Captions added Thank you for watching! This video explains how I draw a basic triangle grid which I often use for stitching patterns involving hexagons. As I explained in the video, this is one of the practical ways to draw a triangle grid with diagonal lines close to 30 degrees by hand, but it can’t quite achieve the accurate angle. If you want to draw an accurate pattern, please use an isometric grid (with equilateral triangles). The A:B=1:2 grid are also useful for some Hishi (diamond) patterns. This grid makes some complicated patterns much easier to draw and stitch and I will show one in the next video.
