Therefore, the farm decided to burn the wool, this is the most profitable. Shearing one ram at the time of filming was 300 tenge. The breed of sheep on Kuanysh's farm is coarse-wool, so shearing is done only once a year. ► After shearing, the sheep must be washed so that they do not have fleas, sores, scabies. The bathing pit is made thoroughly and allows about 200 heads to be driven through. After bathing, the entire livestock is vaccinated, fortunately, the state provides the main types of vaccines to farms for free and even provides a veterinarian. The vaccination campaign on the farm, as a rule, lasts about 2 days. ► The shepherds' staff mainly consists of people living in the mountainous region of Surkhan-Darya in Uzbekistan, where transhumance cattle breeding has always been developed, which is why from an early age the residents of those places know the difficult and honorable work of a shepherd well. ► In winter, the sheep are fed chopped grass, which is stored on the farm. In summer, the sheep are fed outside, for this purpose several elongated feeders are installed on the territory. At the same time, the design of the feeders has been improved: water pipes have been installed along the edges, which prevents injuries to the sheep's neck. The length of one feeder is 30 meters. ► We also really liked the design of the hayloft, which is made from a barrel cut in half and then joined lengthwise. Then a frame and legs are welded to them, which can be of different lengths. In total, there are 300 haylofts on the farm. ► The sheep drinking bowls on the farm are made of cement with added fiberglass, which prevents premature destruction.
