Two Piece Resin Head Mold With TC-1630 & BR-75D

2 piece head mold using tooling resin and brushable resin. Mike McCracken used this technique on his alien silicone mask mold so I thought I would give it a try for a prop head mold. The head was cast from a lifecast mold using Monster Clay and then I re-sculpted the eyes open using TC-800 resin eye forms. Overall, this was a fairly quick process allowing me to make a 2 piece mold well within a day. This was my first time to use this technique, so it wasn't the cleanest mold, but it was easy to do and got good results. I will be casting a TC-5110F silicone head from this mold in a future tutorial. Pro tip! If you are working with TC-1630 on a regular basis, find a sympathetic paint store to shake the A and B components for you!
