For this challenge We wanted to sculpt a super cool character- Tim Curry playing the Lord of Darkness! This legend (pun intended) is from the movie legend starring Tom Cruise and Ferris Buellers girlfriend (idk her name and I don’t wanna look it up and no one actually reads descriptions). On top of being a fun challenge this guy also has a purpose…but you have to finish the video if you wanna find out…im not gonna tell you here. Ummmmm what else uhhhh I (this is dylan writing this btw) watched the movie for the first time while editing this video and…Tom Cruise was just weird. I mean he’s weird in most things but idk like was he supposed to be a little boy? Was he some kind of elf? And his dress thing he wore was WAY too short. Also the plot was weird and kinda all over… BUT TIM CURRY AND ALL THE OTHER MONSTERS WERE SO COOL like they really just looked SO good and were so memorable. And obviously Tim Currys acting was just so so so great and theatrical and amazing. I had never seen such a disparity between two A-list level actors in one movie but Tim Curry just…wow he’s the only reason I would ever talk about this movie. And shout out the set designers and costume guys , the practical effects and monsters (again) were just so amazing and cool. Kinda got off topic but I’ve been working on this video non-stop for like 3 Weeks straight and I just feel like ranting.
