Chasing diesel locomotives in the wet weather at different locations around the Midlands 11/06/26

So knowing the weather was going to be atrocious I wasn't going to change my plans on my day off work although the plan did indeed change on the day missing a 2nd shot of 50050 and D1015 at Water Orton Station that i would of actually missed to instead capture 37667. My 1st capture saw me head to Five Ways Station where I did hope 37418 An Comunn Gaidhealach would be leading Caroline but unfortunately not and the 37 only really opened up after passing towards University Station. My 2nd capture saw me head to Rowley Regis Station via a bus and train getting there with 20 or so minutes to wait, I got partially bowled due to 50050 & D1015 running 7 minutes early but fair play to the conductor for getting the unit away quickly for me for it not to be in the direct way and a shout to the driver for the tone and the opening up on passing me, thank you. After there I had planned for Water Orton for another shot but I'm glad I didn't as I definitely would of missed it and instead headed for Lichfield Trent Valley to see 37667 Flopsie with 47830 and a Midland Pullman coach with two barrier coaches, it had stopped raining while I was there but the heavens opened up again for the last shot, all in all a very wet day but worthwhile, probably the only one stupid enough haha.
