5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe & 37240 with the Worcester Shakespeare Express 17/05/2026

So here are my captures from Sunday's Worcester Shakespeare Express where I started at Rowley Regis Station for the 37240 move between Birmingham Snow Hill and Kidderminster where it then carried on as the ECS to Worcester Shrub Hill. I then stayed but went over to the opposite platform for the return with 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe. I then travelled onto Wilmcote Station getting there in time to see 37240 coming off Bearley Junction heading into Stratford Upon Avon, I then had a walk on up the the vridge futher up for 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe heading to Birmingham Snow Hill. I then headed for The Lakes Crossing where I first saw tender 1st and then stayed for 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe but while waiting a old gentleman turned up with like 15 minutes before it was due that passed me on the crossing, had a look at the view and decided he didn't like it and then came back to the side I was and when I politely pointed out where I was going to be standing with tripod but waiting for the 16.55 WMR service to pass by 1st before moving it, he then just turned aggressive and grabbed me so I had to defend myself grabbing him back and I could of done a lot more but always taught to respect the elders but after that I am starting to doubt that as its not the 1st time a old man has been rude either. Anyway it didn't deter me and I got my shot and hopefully he either missed his or got a rubbish one. After there I headed for Old Hill Station for the ECS with 37240 leading but first came a struggling 66 on the Tesco train before 37240 came but shut off approaching with 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe giving the 37 a push up Old Hill.
