මේ සංචාරය වෑවියතලාවේ කළ ගමනේ දෙවන කොටසයි. අපි වෑවියතලාවෙන් ආපසු පිටත් වුණේ සවස පහට පමණ. කොහොම හරි කළුවර වැටෙන්න කලින්, කැලෑව වැවී තිබූ අමාරුම කොටස පසුකරන්න අපිට හැකි වුණා. පැන්ඩික් වතුයාය පැත්තට එන විට සවස හයත් ආසන්න වෙලා තිබුණා. ඒ වෙලාවේ අහස පැහැදිලිව තිබූ නිසා අපිට ශ්‍රී පාදය දැකගන්න වාසනාව ලැබුණා. මේ හරියෙන් කටුනායක ගුවන්තොටුපල පවා දකින්න පුළුවන් කියලා කියනවා. කොහොම හරි Olu Ella Jungle Resort එකට එන විට රාත්‍රී 7.30ත් පසු වෙලා. ඉතින් අපි උදේ පාන්දරම පිටත් වුණා ඕලු ඇල්ල බලන්න යන්න. මෙතනින් ටික දුරක් යටියන්තොට පැත්තට යන්න ඕනේ. සති අන්තයේ දවසක් නිසා මේ දවස්වල සෙනඟ ටිකක් වැඩියි. ඕලු ඇල්ල කියන්නේ ලංකාවේ උසින් පස්වන ස්ථානයට සැලකෙන දිය ඇල්ලක්. මේ ඇල්ල තට්ටු හතරකට පහළට කඩාගෙන වැටෙනවා. ඔළු යායක් වගේ පහළට ගලා වැටෙන නිසා මේ ඇල්ලට ඕලු ඇල්ල කියලා නම පටබැඳිලා තියෙනවා. ඉන්පස්සේ අපි ආපහු පහළ පැලැන්පිටියට ඇවිත්, එතනින් ඉහළ පැලැන්පිටියට යන මාර්ගයේ ටික දුරක් ඉහළට ගියේ තවත් හරි අපූරු ලස්සන තැනකට. මේකට කියන්නේ හක්කල ඇල්ල කියලා. ඉහළ පැලැන්පිටිය පැත්තෙන් තමයි මේ ඇල්ල ආරම්භ වෙන්නේ. අඩි 50ක් පමණ උස ගල් දෙබොක්කක් මැදින් මේ ඇල්ල පහළට කඩාගෙන වැටෙනවා. මැද ස්වභාවික නාන තටාකයක් තියෙනවා. අපේ සංචාරවලදී අපිට හමුවුණු ලස්සනම තැන් අතරින් එකක් තමයි මේ හක්කල ඇල්ල කියන්නේ. තව විශේෂ ගමනේදී කැලේ පිපුන මලක් හමු උනා . පුංචි මල් කැකුළක්. ලස්සනට සින්දු ගායනා කරන්න පුළුවන් දරුවෙක් . ඉතින් මේ වීඩියෝ එකේ අවසානෙට පොඩ්ඩාගේ සිංදුවකුත් අහන්න පුළුවන්. English Description This journey is the second part of our trip in Wewalthalawa. We left Wewalthalawa around 5.00 PM in the evening. Somehow, we managed to pass the most difficult forest section covered with thick vegetation before darkness fell. By the time we reached the Pandick Estate area, it was around 6.00 PM. The sky was very clear at that moment, so we were lucky enough to see Sri Pada (Adam’s Peak). It is also said that from this area you can even see the Katunayake Airport. By the time we reached Olu Ella Jungle Resort, it was already past 7.30 PM. So early next morning, we started our journey to visit Olu Ella Waterfall. From here, we had to travel a short distance towards the Yatiyanthota side. Since it was a weekend, there were quite a lot of visitors around these days. Olu Ella is considered the fifth highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. It falls down in four beautiful tiers. Because the water flows down like a stream of onions (“olu”), it is believed that the name Olu Ella was given. After that, we returned to lower Pelanpitiya and then traveled a short distance uphill on the road towards upper Pelanpitiya to reach another beautiful location. This place is called Hakkala Ella. This waterfall starts from the upper Pelampitiya side. It drops through a rocky canyon about 50 feet high. In the middle, there is a natural bathing pool. Among all the places we have visited during our travels, Hakkala Ella is definitely one of the most beautiful spots we have come across. At the end of this special journey, we also had a beautiful surprise. We met a little “flower blooming in the forest” — a small child with an amazing voice who can sing beautifully.
