Semper Electric 78rpm Disc “Jack’s Mule Blues” and “How Long How Long” TX1021a “Jack’s Mule Blues” Colin Hancock (voice and banjo) TX1022c “How Long How Long Blues” (voice and piano) Recorded March 1, 2024 by Semper Phonograph Co., Austin, TX Recorded via Presto D7 Lathe (formerly used in the film “Maestro” starring Bradley Cooper) Thanks to the Association of Recorded Sound Collections for the Independent Initiatives Award which funded the purchase of this lathe. Semper now provides electric as well as acoustic recording options. Note: These are test recordings made on the first day of operating this lathe. As such, the sound may be crude and unbalanced.
