Engine Start-up & Tuning #1 - 948cc A-Series - Why can’t this engine build oil pressure?!?😳 Priming a 948cc engine’s oil pump? The goal is to get the oil pump "wet" so it can create suction and draw oil from the sump effectively. What if it STILL won’t build pressure?? Turns out . . . the lack of a working oil pressure relief valve can cause no oil pressure.
