Lost Letters & Tiny Graves : Explore a 1917 Abandoned Pioneer Post Office.

Step back in time with me as I explore an abandoned pioneer post office and residence, built in 1917 by Frank Foreman on the vast Alberta Prairies. Frank and his wife Nellie worked tirelessly as farmers, raising a large family of 9 children in this now-silent house. Their story is one of resilience, love, and loss. Tragedy struck when their eldest son, Gordon, died in a hunting accident at just 14 years old, casting a long shadow over the family. In the overgrown yard, two small iron crosses mark a shallow grave in the trees as silent reminders of the family's sorrow, a haunting testament to the hardships they endured. John Kromm moved into the silent home in 1940 where he and his wife raised their young family. The home was lived in until the early 1980's. The house, once filled with love and laughter, is beginning to show its age as it grows darker and darker as the years pass. Follow me through the rooms, halls and into the vaulted attic and observe objects left behind that provide a cracked window into the past.
