Solo Cabin Run by way of Michigan

Time to head up the cabin to ensure we are all set for Fall and Winter and wont have to embarrass ourselves any longer by stopping at the local gas station for wood. ("Not that there's anything wrong with that!") But before I went there, I had to make a stop in Michigan to see my daughter and her children (Due to privacy concerns I didn't video anything there). We had a short but great visit there. Then on to the cabin with a stop at St. Marys Pennsylvania for some Straub beer. I'm glad that I had several recommendations to stop at the Brewery for some fresh beer. Their Lager is some of the best I've tasted. There's always time for a little cooking, a Wagyu beef ribeye fit the bill for the first evening. Very tender and flavorful. Had some buffalo chicken sauce baked beans and a little salad. Then time for a nice campfire chat. Next day had some thick pork chops, with a repeat of the sides. The major thing to get this trip was to get a cord of wood delivered. Checked Facebook market place, and found a few good choices. Met the gentleman at the bottom of the mountain and led him up to camp. He unloaded and I stacked it all up and filled our rack inside the cabin also. Great to see that and not have any worried about small overpriced bundles that we normally end up getting. Firewood, firewood, firewood is all I can say!
