EP37. RENOVATION REALITIES & A KITCHEN FRESHEN UP | BEFORE & AFTER

✯ Episode 37✯ Spring may be on the horizon now but in Summer 2022, one thing at the forefront of our minds was preparing for the cold, dark and wet Winter ahead of us. Dealing with a leak from our washing machine in the kitchen at the mill, in true 'Go With The Flo' fashion, lead us to take up the the damp and mouldy kitchen floor which had been bothering me (Alex) for a while! We then painted the floor and took some time to do a little bit of work on the range and the surrounding chimney breast to try and improve the look of everything. Aesthetically things were looking a bit better in the kitchen, but remaining authentic is one of our key aims behind this channel and looking after / renovating a Grade II listed mill comes with its (many) negatives and in this episode I talk a little bit more about those and how they make me feel.
