Emerald Park - So Many Parks 183

New year, new country, new park! While on my honeymoon with my wife visiting Ireland for the first time, we happened to be in Dublin during Emerald Park's opening weekend... so of course I dragged us to the park. Emerald Park is the largest theme park in Ireland, and it is excellent! Once owned and operated by the Tayto crisps company next door, the park has shifted its focus to celebrating its country's history and folklore. New in the park is the Tír na nÓg section, complete with two awesome Vekoma coasters, one of which is the fantastic na Fianna Force suspended thrill coaster. Along with a great Gravity Group wood coaster, a full zoo, a crazy flume, and Hallmark movie shenanigans, this was an absolutely fantastic way to kick off the next chapter of So Many Parks. This is So Many Parks, So Little Time; a series where I document the many amusement parks I stop by this summer. Join me for some fun times, some great people, and of course the coasters.
