Made Here - Death in the Wilderness: A Love Story
Capt. George Davenport of the 5th Vermont Regiment was fatally wounded on, May 5th, 1864, in the Battle of the Wilderness, and hastily buried in a Virginia cornfield. A year later his young widow Frankie from Brandon set out in search of his body, but finding her husband was only the beginning of her story. For the rest of her life she devoted herself to the memory of Vermont's soldier. Originally premiered in 2017 on then Vermont PBS.
