Lano Community Seeks Erosion Control Intervention
Residents of Lano community in Yamaltu-Deba Local Government Area of Gombe State are seeking State Government intervention over a growing gully erosion threatening homes and public facilities. They say the situation has been worsened by the abandonment of the road project initiated by Rt. Hon. Inuwa Garba, which has remained uncompleted for over two years, and are appealing for urgent erosion control measures to save the community.
