Easy Homemade Granola Bars These homemade granola bars are simple to make, customizable, and perfect for busy families! Ingredients • ¾ cup butter, softened • 1 cup honey • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract • 1 teaspoon baking soda • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or whole wheat or almond flour) • 4½ cups rolled oats • 1 cup chocolate chips Optional add-ins: • Sunflower seeds • Flax seeds • Chopped nuts • Dried cranberries • Raisins • Coconut Instructions 1. Preheat your oven to 325°F. 2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, honey, and vanilla until light and fluffy. 3. Mix in the baking soda and flour. 4. Stir in the rolled oats until combined. 5. Fold in the chocolate chips and any additional mix-ins you’d like. 6. If the mixture feels too sticky, stir in a little more rolled oats. 7. Press the mixture firmly into a greased baking dish or sheet pan. (Tip: Wet your hands before pressing to keep the mixture from sticking.) 8. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown. 9. Let cool for 10–15 minutes, then cut into bars. 10. Wrap individually in wax paper or store in an airtight container. Refrigerate for the best texture.
