Empresário é assassinado na frente da filha de 8 anos em Caraguatatuba (SP)

Marcelo Benedito, 39, was murdered in front of his house in Caraguatatuba, on the north coast of São Paulo, while returning home from school with his 8-year-old daughter. The criminals, in a car, knocked Marcelo and his daughter down while they were on an electric bicycle. The shooter, wearing a balaclava and long-sleeved shirt, pointed a gun at them both. Before firing, the assailant forced the father to say goodbye to his daughter, who managed to escape following her father's instructions. Marcelo was hit by five shots while still on the ground, one of them in the face. His wife found her husband lying on the ground and their daughter in a state of panic. The police are investigating the case and already have leads on the suspect. Days before the crime, Marcelo had sent an audio message to his family saying he was in danger.
