And when it is truly necessary for our salvation. We often pray: “Lord, heal me.” “Lord, help my child.” “Lord, give me children.” “Lord, raise up mom, dad, husband, wife.” “Lord, take away this patience.” And God hears. But God sees more than we do. Sometimes patience is not taken away immediately, because through it the soul is healed. Sometimes God does not take away the cross, but gives the strength to bear it. Sometimes the Mother of God does not take away suffering, but asks for endurance, wisdom and grace for us. Father Vasily speaks very strongly: when a person asks for healing, it is important to ask himself: who will I become after healing? Will I change? Will I become closer to God? Will I testify to God's miracle? Will I glorify the Lord? Will I return to my old sinful life? Because people often commit the most sins when they are healthy, strong and self-confident. Therefore, God looks not only at our request, but also at what will happen to us after the grace received. The Mother of God of Perpetual Help asks for God's help for us. But this help should lead us to change, to faith, to gratitude, to witness, and to God. The main idea of ​​this sermon is: The Mother of God hears you. She never tires of praying for you. But God's help comes in its own time — and the biggest question is not only whether you will receive a miracle, but who you will become after it.
