What started out as a quick fish midday session turned out to be one of the best inland snapper fishing sessions I have ever experienced in Botany Bay. Choosing at the last minute to fish the huge reef off the “Golf Ball” was the best decision, because on this day the snapper had moved into the Botany shipping channel and it was on fire! 🔥 Using the #halfpilly rig and fresh human grade sardines aka pilly, i managed to haul in some very respectable snapper mixed in with many reef species.
