Home for the Dying & Destitute | MT Kolkata

I’ve never been to a home for the Dying and the Destitute before. There is a women’s section and a men’s section. Mother Theresa started her first home for the dying in an area called khalighat, next to mar Khali and the khalighat temple. She started this home in the 1950's after she left Ireland. Its rare to be given permission to film in this home. I didn't feel comfortable filming in the woman's section, so focused my filming in the men's area..which including taking a photo of a dying man. It was an interesting experience as you will see.   / saintmteresa
