Why Is Keeping Weight Off So Hard? | Weight Loss Psychology (Ep 3)
Why is keeping weight off so hard? It's not because YOU are a failure. It's because quick fix programmes often set you up to fail. They're not designed for long-term motivation, they don't address psychological factors, they don't go on long enough for you to learn that you're capable, and they're often too restrictive to sustain. Then when you experience repeated failures you begin to lose confidence, which in turn makes you more vulnerable to failing again. In this third video in my weight loss psychology series I want to give you hope that long-term change IS possible. You just need to do things differently than you have before.
