Opening a Perfume Store in New York | A Week in NYC (Part 1)

After months of preparation, we finally arrived in New York to help open a new perfume store. The shift was immediate. Jazz playing in the Uber, the Manhattan skyline pulling closer, that unmistakable energy rising to meet us. My friend Karen welcomed us with pizza and Barolo at her apartment, and we settled in quickly, catching up as if no time had passed. It felt like the perfect beginning to what would become a whirlwind week. I’m constantly inspired by your generosity, curiosity, and perspective, and it meant so much to connect face to face. From you I learn about music, design, theater and projects that you're working on. I found out about a perfume store in Greenwich, CT called MONC XIII that I will hopefully check out the next time I'm on the East Coast. Returning to New York has been fascinating. It’s a city I once knew well, but it continues to evolve. Everything feels both familiar and entirely new. The pace, the proximity, the ability to move quickly between moments — it all came rushing back. We covered more ground than I could possibly include in one video, so this is just the beginning.
