Downtown mural update

Work continues on the mural on the Sophia Street side of Goolrick's. Fredericksburg artist Bill Harris estimates it will take another few weeks to complete. He says the artists are now using small brushes as they add details to the small fish and turtles. The mural celebrates the Rappahannock River with its native wildlife, historic flood levels, George Washington—and, of course, Gary the Goose.
