For others, the problem lies in their intonation, as their voice is too high or too low, and they can't find a way to make it more pleasant and interesting to listen to. That's why today I'm going to share with you 7 exercises that will help you improve your voice's clarity, tone, and volume. This way, you'll be able to develop an increasingly clear, attractive, and persuasive voice, allowing you to maintain an authentic connection with your audience and deliver engaging, interesting, and memorable presentations. ✓ EXERCISE 1. Project the right volume. It's important that your voice's volume isn't too loud, as it can overwhelm and deafen; nor is it too soft to put people to sleep. You must project the right volume level, and you can achieve this by using your breathing correctly. ✓ EXERCISE 2. Express yourself with a clear and well-defined voice. Diction is even more important than volume. Some presenters don't need to raise their volume as much because their voice is so clear, and they can be perfectly understood by everyone in the room. ✓ EXERCISE 3. Develop a fluid and dynamic voice. The goal is to control the dynamics of your voice so that it varies according to the intensity of the message you are delivering. ✓ EXERCISE 4. Project a natural tone of voice. Faking your voice is a mistake that can cause your audience to disbelieve your words because they don't perceive your authentic voice. It can also cause your throat to become fatigued after just a few minutes of speaking. ✓ EXERCISE 5. Find the right rhythm. The rule is simple: Find a rhythm that you feel comfortable with and that you consider appropriate for the message you are conveying. ✓ EXERCISE 6. Give your voice a more appealing tone. We all have a unique voice, but you can give it a more pleasing tone, and you can achieve this as simply as smiling. ✓ EXERCISE 7. Speak with conviction and persuasion. Practice every day so you gain experience speaking with a confident voice that demonstrates that you are completely convinced of what you are saying. I recommend using an app or device that allows you to record your voice. This way, you can listen to your recording and repeat the exercise, making the necessary adjustments to the volume, clarity, dynamics, intonation, rhythm, attraction, and conviction of your voice. • Speaking with enthusiasm is key: As you can see, the enthusiasm you manage to imbue your words plays a crucial role in the persuasive power you will achieve when convincing your audience. That's why I recommend that you make your message your own; Feel and live consistently with each word you speak. If possible, talk about something you are passionate about, and you will see how your voice will immediately emit a charming glow that will easily convince your audience, provided your arguments are well-founded. Put each of these 7 exercises into practice to drastically improve your ability to influence and convince when you speak in public. You will notice that little by little you will forge your own vocal style, a dynamic, clear, and persuasive voice that will make you a great speaker capable of captivating, guiding, and truly inspiring your audience.
