Jetstar Airways JQ262 : Flying from Wellington to Auckland

12th September 2022 It was time to return home after a few hours spent in the capital missed Wellington. We're flying aboard Jetstar on their 12 years old Airbus A320-200, VH-VGO. The same one that we flew on earlier that day. Getting to Wellington Airport was convenient with public transport. We promptly checked in and relaxed in the terminal as well as having some food. We witnessed the plane land and after that, we went through security and were the first to board at Gate 22. I settled in Seat 21A. Once the crew made their announcements, we pushed back and taxied to the runway before taking off towards Wellington in cloudy conditions. I didn't order any food or drinks during the flight nor prepaid for them online. Once the sun began to set, and the city lights glowed from below the clouds, we approached Auckland and landed in the dark. We then taxied and parked at Gate 23. Overall, like our previous flight, it was a flight that we were satisfied with. Once we disembarked, we proceeded into the terminal and took a bus to the city centre, wondering when would be the next time we would travel together. Perhaps, a longer stay in the capital. This trip wouldn't be possible without Jetstar's unbelievably affordable airfares, and I was glad to fly with them.
