Early 15th c Cuirass Part 1: Breastplate and Hinged Backplates
A look at my early 15th century cuirass. Part 1 will consist of the upper half; the breastplate and two hinged backplates, or reredos, that close down the centerline of the back. The design is based on contemporary artwork and surviving documentary descriptions of similar torso protection.
