Grange Over Sands, New Lido, Holker Hall, Ramsbottom Link

A walk around Grange Over Sands and its link with Ramsbottom & Helmshore. The local Lido closed for over 25 years gets a 6.8m makeover. And a visit to nearby Holker Hall and its beautiful gardens. Colonel Austin Townsend Porritt, born in Ramsbottom, had mills in the area including Sunnybank, Helmshore (see recent walk around Helmshore). He spent his final years at Yewbarrow Lodge in Grange.
