OLD STEAM POWERED MACHINE SHOP 41 Engine Flywheel
Number 41 in the series of what might have been going on in a small "job" machine shop building, and repairing all types of mechanical equipment and engines in the approximate year of 1925. The flywheel of a vertical steam engine being rebuilt is bored and sleeved to fit the opposite side of the crankshaft . This makes the engine more suitable for general use as belt power. Any comments, questions or discussion about steam power, line shaft power or old machine shop operations are always welcome. You can check or "follow" my G+ page for shop news. Thanks for watching.....Dave
