There's a blockbuster this week! Promised!!! At least, that's how we felt about the time we spent off-roading in "Little Tibet"! We've set the bar really high for future highlights – will we be able to top that during our Italy tour? We never know... The journey via the two medieval villages of Santo Stefano di Sessiano and Castel del Monte already offers a lot to see. Both places are and are still being beautifully restored, and it's great to stroll through the alleys and "breathe in a bit of history"... Campo Imperatore is the expansive plateau, also called "Little Tibet," and lies in the heart of the Gran Sasso National Park. From Castel del Monte, we then drive (after Thom has scouted the route with the husky) over an off-road track into the heart of the beautiful plateau and spend the night – what felt like the roof of the world – on a hill in the middle of the magnificent landscape. You absolutely have to watch this – first in our video (😉), but then you'll definitely want to go there yourself... Enjoy watching!
