BART Legacy fleet - A trip from Walnut Creek to Macarthur

Update: As of April 2024, the Legacy Fleet has been officially retired from revenue service. Starting on September 11, 2023, BART will be implementing a new timetable. Changes will include shorter trains and higher frequencies mainly to emphasize safety on the BART system. As a result, the Legacy fleet will no longer be a part of the regular timetable. However, we may be able to see them from time to time depending on if they are needed for extra capacity. They are set to be ultimately retired in 2025. I am really hoping to get a few videos of Legacy fleet trains before the new timetable takes place. Given that we will no longer see the Legacy fleet on a regular basis anymore, it's honestly going to feel strange seeing BART without the original fleet. I feel like the original fleet is what really defines what is BART and what riding it is like. Since I've been riding the old trains for 8+ years as a child with my grandparents, it is going to feel strange riding the FOTF trains all the time because they still feel new to me.
