Peugeot 504 GL, 1973

We sourced this 504 sedan with GL trim for a client who had commissioned us to search for such a vehicle. The car was to be in the best possible condition. We've had nearly 100 Peugeot 504s in our workshop, including about 40 sedans, and certainly half of those were in very good condition. But this car exceeded all expectations. It was first registered in February 1973 in the Oise region, north of Paris. In 1992, a Peugeot enthusiast from the Netherlands bought it, and we acquired it from this second owner. The mileage in 1992 was 11,000 kilometers, and by 2026 it had reached approximately 55,000 kilometers. The Dutchman's wife assured us that her husband never drove the Peugeot in the rain. This is evident in the car's appearance, as it looks like a well-maintained, nearly new vehicle. Everything is in its original condition; nothing has ever been repainted, and the interior, apart from two later-installed additional instruments, is also completely original. But originality alone doesn't make this car the unique vehicle you see before you. Everything, absolutely everything, is in incredibly good condition. The past five decades seem to have passed the car by without leaving a trace. Only a few tiny dents confirm that this is not a new car. However, you have to look very closely to find these marks. An absolutely exceptional vehicle, and we cannot imagine ever finding a more authentic and better-preserved Peugeot 504 sedan again. We are very pleased to be able to hand over this automotive treasure to our client. You can find our website here: https://www.atelier-automobile.de/
