After prepping the beams last week, it’s time to insulate. Installing the thermal foil and insulation was a challenging, dusty task, but the results were worth it. At the same time, we had to figure out how to transport 2 tons of pellets to the house, making sure we're prepared for the winter ahead, even though we're hoping for some better weather soon! Once the insulation was in, we could finally start reinstalling the wooden floor we removed earlier. Of course, it wasn't as easy as it sounded, but Bram worked his magic and did an incredible job. While the renovation pace is picking up, we still take time to relax, enjoying the breathtaking sunsets that remind us why we moved to the French countryside in the first place. But that’s not all. Since we got back, I’ve been itching to check something out—we’ve got a permit for a swimming pool! The challenge? Digging through rocky ground. We started testing the area, but as expected, hit a lot of rocks. This pool project might be trickier than we thought, but we’re always up for a challenge!
