Our Campervan is Rotten!

Hello and welcome to our YouTube channel! We converted our Campervan nearly 10 years ago and we thought it was time to make some layout changes and upgrades to the interior. Once we made a start we found dampness in a few places, one thing leads to another so we ended up ripping out the entire van back to a shell. We found rust and lots of it, so we had to cut out two of the sills, treat the rust and install two new sills before priming and painting. This was a steep learning curve as neither of us have welded before, so after buying a mig welder we gave it a try. Our Campervan journey began in 2016 when we purchased a second hand delivery van, a Citroen Relay 2.2 H2 L3. We converted the van on the driveway at home, although self-builds are always work in progress... We love Scotland and the outdoors, and our Campervan takes us to all of the places where we can enjoy hillwalking, skiing, paddle boarding, cycling and spending time. Our Campervan is fully equipped for off grid living all year round, although we do also stay in campsites. We have busy lives, and van life is our escape for the odd night, weekend or longer break whenever possible.
