Cycling Germany Alps Lechbruck Donauworth 11 09 2020

I am leaving the Alpine region today. When I first cycle through the Prealps, a beautiful undulating terrain via nice small roads. I cycle the romantic road. This runs fairly parallel to the Lech. The weather is beautiful and quiet. Occasional cyclist but mostly locals. After 60 km I have lunch. After that I get a bit more boring part to Augsburg on major roads with a bicycle lane. The route goes straight through Augsburg. Then I get back to the original route I had planned. During a stop, an elderly couple has a chat. She had cycled 140 km to France once. And I had to drink well. Then I cycle along the Lech. The plan is to camp in Eggelstetten. It is six o'clock when I get there. Unfortunately the campsite is completely full. I continue to Donauwörth where a Kanu campsite is only for tents. I'll be there at half past six. Fortunately, there is room here. I can set up my tent for 9 euros. Facilities are a bit basic.
