Trains Use Crossover Switching | 13th St. Railroad Crossing, Sacramento CA - SACRT Light Rail Trains

July 10, 2026 Due to construction at the 8th & O Inbound Platform, train service is suspended in Downtown and will return Mon July 13th. There are bus bridges for the Gold and Blue Lines with the Gold Line ending here and you have to take the bus shuttle the rest of the line to the Sac Valley Station and the Blue Line shuttle bus running from 13th Street here to the Globe Station to continue on trains on the north side of the line system. Sacramento Regional Transit light rail trains on the SACRT Gold Line and Blue Line pass through the 13th Street railroad crossing arriving and turn around or back departure the station across the crossover switch in Sacramento, California. I later also filmed a 4 car train when two Blue Line trains were running behind one another.
