P&O Arvia Adventure - Summer 2023 - Day 7 - Sea Day + Day 8 Marseille

Hi everyone, Welcome to day 7 and day 8 of our Arvia cruise. Day 7 was another sea day and we spent most of the day relaxing on. a sun lounger. We had a nice lunch at the main dining room and enjoyed dinner at the Epicurean. On sday 8 we visited Marseille, and we had heard mixed reviews about this port prior to travelling. We had breakfast at the Keel and Cow before catching the shuttle into town. We enjoyed walking around the centre and the fantastic area around the marina was packed with nice shops and the hustle and bustle of cafes, restaurants and patisseries. Afterwards we ventured through some interesting streets that were a little rough and ready before headinf=g to the new shopping centre and a wonder round the shops, including an impressive Printemps. We really enjoyed Marseille on this cruise, and also visited on our Costa Smeralda. Back on board we enjoyed a loverly meal at the Glasshouse. The speciality dining on Arvia has been fantastic on this cruise and we have enjoyed the variety on offer.
