Summer Adventure 2024 - Part 18 - York Day 2

Hi Everyone, Welcome to the last vlog in this travel series as we enjoy our second day in York. the day starts with our number one priority - to track down Juniper bunny, which we discovered at Mary Shortle. This gave us an opportunity to walk along the City Wall, which we enjoyed as the weather was much better today. After the successful purchase of Juniper bunny, we made our way back into into the centre of York to walk around and see any highlights that we had missed. this included visit to the two department stores in town at Browns and Fenwick. Browns had a nice selection of bags and wallets, whilst Fenwick had a fantastic selection of niche fragrances. We paid a visit to one of the Christmas shops and we purchased a nice ornament for our tree. We love to purchase decorations when possible to remind us of our adventures at that time of year. We also had a look in several other stores that we missed the previous day! This was followed by a visit to the National Railway Museum. We enjoyed seeing all the historical trains and Emily was excited to sit inside the Japanese Bullet train. Hopefully we will be able to sit on a more modern bullet train for real at some point in the future. After enjoying the museum and the associated gift shop, it was time to take the journey back home.
